Another Four COVID-19 Patients Die In Lagos

Four more coronavirus patients have died of complications from the disease in Lagos State.

This takes the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the state to 46.

This was disclosed by the state Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi on Friday via his verified Twitter handle.

“4 more #COVID19 related deaths were recorded in Lagos bringing the total of such deaths to 46,” Abayomi tweeted.

Giving further COVID-19 updates, the health commissioner confirmed the 139 new cases announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on midnight Thursday.

He tweeted: “139 new #COVID19 Infection confirmed in Lagos. Total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 3109.

“13 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 4 females & 9 males, were discharged. This brings the total number of #COVID19 discharged patients in Lagos to 662.”
