The Federal Government, through the International Fund for Agricultural Development Value Chain Development Programme (IFAD-VCDP), has distributed agricultural equipment and empowerment tools to farmers and persons with disabilities in Kogi State.
The intervention is aimed at improving agricultural productivity, supporting value-chain activities and strengthening the livelihoods of beneficiaries, particularly smallholder farmers and vulnerable groups.
The equipment and empowerment materials are expected to help beneficiaries increase their productive capacity, improve access to agricultural opportunities and become more economically self-reliant.
The initiative also reflects efforts to promote inclusive agricultural development, ensuring that persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups can participate more actively in the agricultural value chain.
