Sokoto Catholic Bishop, Matthew Kukah Loses Mother

The mother of Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Hassan Kukah, Mrs Janet Abashen Hauwa Kukah has died.

This was confirmed in a condolence message to the Catholic Bishop by former vice president, Atiku Abubakar on Friday.

“My deepest condolences, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah on the loss of your beloved mother, Mrs Janet Abashen Hauwa Kukah,” Atiku wrote on Twitter.

“There’s no loss like the loss of a mother.

“My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May her soul rest in pe”ace. -AA.”
