JUST IN: Benue University Deputy VC Dies Of COVID-19, Days After Testing Positive

Benue State University Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof Godwin Achinge has died of the dreaded coronavirus disease, days after testing positive.

MERIDIAN SPY confirmed the deceased who was also the vice-chairman of Benue State Action Committee on COVID-19, died on Sunday.

A member of the Action committee also confirmed to newsmen on the condition of anonymity the death of Prof. Achinge.

“We lost our Vice Chairman, Prof. Achinge to the virus this afternoon in Jos, but we are still waiting for the family to be briefed on the development,” the Action committee member said.
