Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of aviation, has asked the Federal Government to allow Temitope B. Joshua, is a founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, through his Emmanuel Tv programme, heal coronavirus patients receiving treatment at isolation centres in the state.
In a series of tweet on Sunday, Fani-Kayode argued that the pastor has healed thousands of COVID-19 patients from 43 nations through his prayers on Emmanuel TV connected to isolation centres via satelite in those countries.
The former aviation minister said both the doctors looking after the patients and the World Health Organisation (WHO) have acknowledged and commended the spiritual work of Pastor Joshua.
He asked the government “to hook him up by satellite through his Emmanuel TV to isolation centres in Nigeria” and see the result of the Synagogue pastor’s prayers on the patients.
“I watched in amazement how God healed thousands from 43 nations through prayers by satellite on Emmanuel TV by Prophet T.B. Joshua over the last one month. The satellite was connected to Covid 19 isolation centres in those countries & after prayers the patients were healed,” said Fani-Kayode.
“The doctors looking after them at the centres & the patients themselves testified to this.
“Even the @WHO has publicly acknowledged & commended the good work he is doing & TB himself has said that the prayers must be coupled with the taking of the necessary medication & that all Covid protocols must be observed & strictly adhered to. He said that the medical & the spiritual must go together.
“This man has done so much for the Church, for the poor, for Nigeria & for humanity. His compassion, efforts & ministry are truly remarkable which is why I often write about him.
“I also know that he is the object of envy & hate by many of his peers who are either ignorant of who & what he is & what he represents or who simply feel dwarfed by him & who really do not know him.
“They find it hard to comprehend or accept the fact that his humility, humanity, kindness, forgiving spirit, generosity, compassion & selflessness are the source of his strength & the reason for his extraordinary favour from God.
“I cannot understand why many Nigerians do not appreciate the work he is doing & I challenge the FG to hook him up by satellite through his Emmanuel TV to isolation centres in Nigeria as well & see the result.
“The Bible says a Prophet is honored everywhere except for in his own home, town &country &this is an example of the veracity of that scripture.
“More than ever before we need the healing touch of God to deliver us from this evil plague & we have someone that can provide that through prayer on television right here in our shores.
Millions all over the world are tapping into this great anointing and blessing but Nigerians remain skeptical & cynical.
“It is time for our people to swallow their pride, appreciate his efforts, acknowledge the power of God in his life and turn to him for help. That is his calling and ministry and that is what he was brought into the world by God to do.
“Others throughout the world appreciate the great work he is doing & they honor & respect him & recognise him as one of God’s great “end-time” Generals. It is about time that Nigerians did the same. Yet whether they do so or not, I have no doubt that he will continue to thrive.”
