Nigerian students aged 18 and above can get 10 additional shares in Dangote Refinery under a share grant initiative by the Aliko Dangote Foundation.

The initiative allows eligible students who purchase a minimum of 10 shares in Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE to qualify for an additional 10 shares funded by the foundation.

At the offer price of ₦525 per share, students are required to invest at least ₦5,250 to purchase the initial 10 shares, while the additional shares are provided at no cost, subject to the programme’s terms and conditions.

The initiative is designed to promote financial literacy, encourage a savings culture and introduce young Nigerians to investment opportunities in the capital market.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a recognised public or private tertiary institution in Nigeria, including a university, polytechnic or college of education. Postgraduate students are excluded.

Applicants must also possess a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN) and complete the required identity verification and other eligibility checks.

Interested students can access the designated application portal at https://ipo.alikodangotefoundation.org/students.

The programme is scheduled to close on October 27, 2026. Applicants are advised to confirm the deadline and eligibility requirements through the official portal.

The foundation notes that qualifying for the initiative does not automatically guarantee share allotment, as applications remain subject to the applicable verification and IPO procedures. Investment returns are also not guaranteed, as share prices may fluctuate with market conditions.
