Nigerian music heavyweights Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy have emerged among the leading nominees for the 18th Headies Awards, with the organisers unveiling the full list for the 2026 ceremony.
The three artistes secured nominations across several major categories, including Afrobeats Album of the Year, Best Male Artiste, Song of the Year, Afrobeats Single of the Year and Best Headies Collaboration.
Davido and Omah Lay’s With You earned multiple nominations, including Song of the Year, Afrobeats Single of the Year, Best Recording of the Year, Best Headies Collaboration and Viewers’ Choice.
Wizkid also received several nominations, with Morayo shortlisted for Afrobeats Album of the Year. He is also in contention for Digital Artiste of the Year, Best Male Artiste and Viewers’ Choice, while his collaborations with Asake feature in major song categories.
Burna Boy’s No Sign of Weakness was nominated for Afrobeats Album of the Year, while Bundle by Bundle earned recognition in the Afrobeats Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories.
The 18th Headies Awards will be held in Canada, with artistes competing across several voting and non-voting categories.
