BREAKING: 348 New COVID-19 Infections As Nigeria’s Cases Top 11,000

348 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the total to 11,166 in the country.

This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday via its verified Twitter handle.

Of the 348 new cases, 163 were confirmed in Lagos, 76 in FCT, 23 in Ebonyi, 21 in Rivers, eight in Delta, Nasarawa and Niger, six in Enugu, five in Bauchi, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo and and Gombe, four in Benue, two in Ogun, and one each in Osun, Plateau, Kogi and Anambra

90 patients newly recovered from the virus disease bringing the total to 3,329 while only one patient died of complications from the virus disease with total fatalities now 315.
