The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has warned that Nigeria could face another industrial crisis in the health sector if the Federal Government fails to resolve the lingering salary dispute with health workers.

The warning followed a letter from the NLC to the Minister of Labour and Employment, urging the government to urgently revive negotiations with the Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU).

The unions have expressed frustration over the slow pace of efforts to address their demands, particularly the adjustment of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS).

The development raises concerns about another disruption to healthcare services if negotiations fail to produce a resolution.
