BREAKING: 313 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded In Nigeria, Total Now 7,839

313 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the total to 7,839 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC broke the news on Sunday via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 313 new cases, 148 were confirmed in Lagos, 36 in FCT, 27 in Rivers, 19 in Edo, 13 in Kano, 12 in Ogun, 11 in Ebonyi, eight in Nasarawa and Delta, seven in Oyo, six in Plateau, five in Kaduna, four in Kwara, three in Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa, two in Niger and one in Anambra.

Five new deaths were recorded while total discharged patients rose to 2,263.
