The King of Saudi Arabia has said it was going to relax the ongoing curfew occasioned by the rising number of coronavirus patients in the country. Saudi King, Salman bin Abdulaziz had imposed the curfew in March to curtail the spread of the virus in the kingdom. Eighty-seven new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Nigeria, bringing the total to 1182 in the country. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC broke the news in the early hours of Sunday morning via its verified Twitter handle. Eighty-six new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), taking Nigeria’s total infections to 627. The NCDC confirmed this late on Sunday via a statement on Twitter. According to the agency, of the 86 new cases, seventy were in Lagos, seven in FCT, three in Katsina, three in Akwa Ibom, one in Jigawa, one in Bauchi and one in Borno.
