Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara on Sunday received members of the Rainbow Coalition reconciliation committee at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
The committee, backed by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, was led by Magnus Abe, Chairman of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
The Rainbow Coalition is a cross-party political alliance in Rivers State reportedly spearheaded by Wike to unite politicians across party lines in support of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The reconciliation committee was formed after Wike announced an end to his prolonged political feud with Fubara, signalling a new phase in their relationship.
