Seven delegates of the All progressive Congress, APC, from Gwiwa Local Government Area of Jigawa State have died in motor accident on their way back home. They traveled from their base to cast their votes in Jigawa North West senatorial primaries in Gumel on Wednesday. In the primary election, Abdullahi Sankara emerged winner after polling 2,664 votes, while his distant second, Hadi Ukashatu, got 473 votes.
