Aggrieved governorship aspirants within the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have reportedly reconciled and pledged their support for the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, ahead of the 2027 election.
The reconciliation is aimed at strengthening the party’s unity and improving its chances in the forthcoming governorship contest.
The aspirants also expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, signalling a renewed effort to consolidate the APC’s political structure in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Party leaders and stakeholders are expected to build on the reconciliation by mobilising members and supporters across Oyo State.
