Some hoodlums have set a police station ablaze in Orile-Iganmu area of Lagos State. MERIDIAN SPY gathered the incident occurred at about 10:00am on Tuesday. Some suspected thugs have attacked Nigerians protesting against police brutality in Abuja, the nation’s capital. According to The Cable, the thugs, who were armed with cutlasses, invaded the protest venue at Berger junction about an hour after the #EndSARS protesters had convened. They harassed the protesters, including passers-by, destroying vehicles parked in the area. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised its 2020 gross domestic growth projections for the Nigerian economy, The Cable reports. In its October World Economic Outlook report released in Washington on Tuesday, the IMF projected that Nigeria’s economy will contract by 4.3 percent in 2020.
