The Federal Government has announced plans to deploy 300 National Youth Service Corps members to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion and service centres across the country after completing specialised training.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening the manpower available at CNG centres while supporting the Federal Government’s efforts to expand the adoption of CNG as an alternative automotive fuel.
The corps members are expected to receive training relevant to CNG operations before being attached to designated centres, where they will gain practical experience and contribute to the sector.
The move is part of broader government efforts to promote the CNG transition, create opportunities for young Nigerians and support the development of Nigeria’s alternative-fuel infrastructure.
