The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on coronavirus pandemic has revealed more of its planned phased reopening of the Nigeria economy, as its announced that the country would resume domestic flight operations on Monday, 22nd of June.
This was among the latest guidelines disclosed by the PTF during the daily media briefing on Monday, in Abuja, as part of measures to further ease the lock-down imposed in the country to contain the spread of the deadly virus.
Similarly, the government also lifted the lockdown imposed in Kano State, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha announced.
“Easing the total lockdown of Kano State and introduction of Phase One of the eased lockdown,” Mustapha stated while listing the new guidelines approved by the President, Muhammadu Buhari.
MERIDIAN SPY reports earlier the government lifted its ban on worship centres for four weeks but subject to review, while also insisting that inter-state travel restriction would remain in place.
“This is still a fight for life and our advancement to Phase Two does not mean that COVID-19 has ended. It is still potent and highly wasteful of human lives,” the SGF warned.
“I implore all Nigerians and corporate citizens to take responsibility and play the expected role.”
