Interior Minister Credits Staff for Ministry’s Recent Achievements
The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has commended the dedication, resilience, and professionalism of staff of the Ministry of Interior, describing them as the driving force behind the Ministry’s achievements over the past two and a half years.
Tunji-Ojo gave the commendation in Abuja at the Ministry of Interior Town Hall Meeting and Reward and Recognition Award Ceremony, organised as part of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan (FCSSIP) 2025.
He expressed appreciation to staff for their unwavering support, collaboration, and sacrifices, noting that the event was not meant for lengthy speeches but to acknowledge the collective efforts that have sustained peace, unity, and productivity within the Ministry.
According to the Minister, every award and recognition earned by the Ministry reflects the contributions of the entire workforce rather than individual office holders, stressing that progress recorded so far is the result of teamwork and shared commitment.
Tunji-Ojo said that while notable milestones were achieved in 2025, the Ministry must continue to build on its gains. He reiterated his reform philosophy, stating that there are “no full stops, only commas,” as the Ministry remains focused on sustaining momentum in service delivery and institutional reforms.
He also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his consistent support, describing it as critical to the successes recorded by the Ministry.
The Minister noted that the President’s leadership approach, driven by innovation and reform, has provided an enabling environment for impactful initiatives.
The event featured a Reward and Recognition Award Ceremony aimed at motivating staff and reinforcing a culture of excellence, accountability, and performance across the Ministry.
