14 Medical Personnels, 23 Others Test Positive For COVID-19 In Katsina

Katsina State government has confirmed 37 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of Infections in the state to 75.

While briefing newsmen on Monday, the state governor, Aminu Masari disclosed that 14 of the new cases are medical personnels working with various hospitals in the state.

Masari revealed that ten out of the 14 medical personnels work in the FMC while the remaining four work in private clinics.

He further stated that blood samples of 89 persons in Emir of Daura palace have been taken to protect the palace having victims of the virus.

The governor further stated that the state will not relax the lockdown imposed to contain the spread of the pandemic.
