JUST IN: Tinubu Signs N2.17trn 2023 Supplementary Budget into Law

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed his first national budget, the 2023 supplementary budget, into law.

President Tinubu signed the N2.17trn Budget at the State House, Abuja on Wednesday afternoon.

The Senate and the House of Representatives passed the supplementary bill, with Chairman Solomon Olamilekan Adeola’s report adopted.

The supplementary bill, aimed at labour wage adjustments and security, expeditiously passed first and second readings in the National Assembly.

The Federal Executive Council had during a recent meeting approved the 2023 supplementary budget of N2.1 trillion and sent to the lawmakers for vetting and approval.
