President Bola Tinubu has signed the amended Students Loan Bill into law.

The bill, which scaled first, second, and third readings in both parliamentary sittings, became law in March.

This followed the consideration of the report of the Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND.

Meanwhile, Tinubu said the programme would begin in January 2024 after missing the October deadline.
