The Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja fixed September 6, to rule on petitions contesting the election of President Bola Tinubu.

The Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja fixed September 6, to rule on petitions contesting the election of President Bola Tinubu.

Meanwhile, PEPT, consolidated the petitions submitted by the various political parties while presenting the trial schedule and the petition’s pre-hearing report.

In order to give the verdicts on the same day as Peter Obi of the Labour Party, it also reserved judgment on the petitions submitted by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.

President Bola Tinubu’s election petitions will be decided on by the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja on September 6.

PEPT presented the trial schedule and the petition’s pre-hearing report while also consolidating the petitions submitted by the different political parties.

It also withheld judgement on the petitions filed by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party in order to render the decisions on the same day as Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

It recently debunked setting September 16 as the judgment date.
