The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will on Tuesday brief Nigerians on its preparations for the 2027 general elections as the country marks 100 days to the polls.

The commission said the briefing will provide updates on the voters’ register, candidate nominations, logistics and measures to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process.

The World Press Conference, to be addressed by INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, will hold alongside a National Stakeholders’ Meeting at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The meeting is expected to bring together political party leaders, security agencies, diplomatic representatives, civil society organisations, development partners, election observers and other key stakeholders ahead of the 2027 elections.
