BREAKING: 245 New Infections, As Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise 7,261

245 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the tally of total infections to 7,2261 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC broke the news on Friday night via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 245 new infections, 131 were confirmed in Lagos, 16 in Jigawa, 13 in Ogun, 12 in Borno, nine in Kaduna, Oyo, Rivers and Ebonyi, eight in Kano, seven in Kwara, five in Katsina, three in Akwa Ibom and Sokoto, two in Bauchi and Yobe and one each in Anambra, Gombe, Niger, Ondo, Plateau, FCT and Bayelsa.

10 new deaths we’re recorded while total recovered patients rose to 2, 007.
