BREAKING: 339 New Cases As Nigeria’s COVID-19 Infections Surpass 7,000

339 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the tally of total infections in the country to 7,016.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC broke the news on Thursday night via its verified Twitter handle.

Of the 339 new cases, 139 were confirmed in Lagos, 28 in Kano and Oyo, 25 in Edo, 22 in Katsina, 18 in Kaduna, 14 in Jigawa, 13 in Yobe and Plateau, 11 in FCT, eight in Gombe, five in Ogun, four in Bauchi and Nasarawa, three in Delta, two in Ondo and one each in Rivers and Adamawa.

11 new deaths we’re recorded, while total recoveries in the country rose to 1,907.
