Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, on Monday presented the 2019 appropriation bill to the Edo State House Assembly in Benin city, the state capital. The budget proposal which is known as the “budget of socioeconomic inclusion” has the total of N175.7 bn budgeted for the 2019 fiscal year. The 2019 economic master-plan contained a total of N95.8 bn as alloted to capital expenditures while N79.9 bn was budgeted for recurrent expenditures. The Lagos state government on Thursday said it has fashioned out workable solutions to ensure free flow of traffic across the state as the yuletide season approaches. The Cross River State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Matthew Achigbe, and his wife have been named among those killed in an auto crash along Afikpo Road in Ebonyi State on Saturday evening.
