Amadawa Records First Case Of Coronavirus

The Adamawa State government has confirmed its first case of coronavirus in the state.

In a state broadcast on Wednesday, the governor, Ahmadu Fintiri said the victim is a returnee from Kano state.

This comes 15 hours after Kano state recorded 14 more COVID-19 infections.

According to records made available by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, ‘as at 11:25 pm 21st April there are 782 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria’.

A total of 25 states have confirmed cases of the contagion in the country, with Lagos recording the highest infection at 430 while Abuja and Kano trails with 118 and 73 respectively.
