The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released an amended list of candidates for the November 11 Bayelsa governorship election.

The amended list uploaded on the commission’s website on Monday now has the names of Timipre Sylva and his running mate, Joshua Maciver of the All Progressives Congress.

The list was signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony.

Sylva’s name was missing on the first list released by INEC on October 25.

The Federal High Court in Abuja had on October 10, disqualified Sylva from participating in the state governorship election.

However, the High Court judgment was reversed by the Court of Appeal on October 31.
