Fubara “Pleaded” with Wike After Meeting Tinubu in Abuja

There appears to be a let-up in the political crisis rocking Rivers State.

 

President Bola Tinubu last night met with the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and some leaders from the state in Aso Rock.

 

Though details of the meeting remain sketchy, a source informed The Nation that the embattled Governor Fubara followed Wike to his house in Guzape, Abuja, after the meeting.

 

Fubara was said to have begged the minister, vowing never to disrespect him again.
