China’s embassy in Nigeria says Chinese imports from Nigeria increased by 81%, reflecting growing trade relations and stronger demand for Nigerian products in the Chinese market.

According to the embassy, the significant increase highlights the expanding economic partnership between both countries and underscores efforts to promote bilateral trade, investment and commercial cooperation.

The development is expected to create more export opportunities for Nigerian businesses, particularly in sectors such as agriculture, solid minerals and manufacturing, while strengthening economic ties between the two nations.

Officials expressed optimism that continued collaboration and improved trade policies would further boost economic growth and deepen Nigeria-China relations.
