The Lagos State Government has recruited 3,000 health workers to boost health care service delivery and meet the health needs of citizens of the state. This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, in a terse statement. According to the commissioner, those recruited by the state included doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab scientists, and other allied professionals.
