APC Inaugurates 2026 Convention C’ttee Wednesday, Masari Chairs
The All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Wednesday inaugurate its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee as part of preparations for the party’s forthcoming national convention.
According to a press statement issued on Monday in Abuja by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the inauguration will hold on February 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the NWC Hall of the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
The party disclosed that former Katsina State Governor and ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Bello Masari, will serve as Chairman of the Committee.
Former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, has been appointed as Vice Chairman I, while the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, will serve as Vice Chairman II.
Also named into the committee is the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, who will serve as Treasurer. Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, will function as Secretary of the Committee.
The party noted that the full list of leaders and members of the committee remains as earlier published.
It explained that the Central Coordination Committee is expected to oversee and harmonise all activities leading to the anticipated peaceful and successful conduct of the APC’s 2026 National Convention.
