The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has offered a building forfeited by former minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke as an isolation centre for coronavirus patients.
The said building, which was forfeited in 2017 following a federal high court order in Lagos, was handed over to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos, on Friday.
At the handover ceremony, the EFCC Lagos zonal head, Mohammed Rabo, said the gesture was part of the commission’s social responsibility efforts towards the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
