The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has declared the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Pastor Umo Eno as the winner of the governorship election in Akwa Ibom state.
Eno polled 354,348 to beat his closest rival Bassey Akpan of Young Peoples Party (YPP) who polled 136, 263.
The All Progressive Congress (APC)’s Akan Udofia came in distant third with 129,602 votes.
