UPDATED: Nigeria Confirms 6 New Cases Of Coronavirus, Total Now 190

Six new cases of the deadly coronavirus pandemic were confirmed in Nigeria, bringing the total number to 190.

This was disclosed by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control NCDC via its verified twitter handle on Friday.

According to NCDC, the six new cases of #COVID19 were reported in Osun State, Nigeria.

NCDC tweeted: “Six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Osun State, Nigeria.

“As at 11:00 am 3rd April there are 190 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty have been discharged with two deaths.”

Currently, 13 states, out of the 36 states in the country, have recorded confirmed cases of the virus disease. Lagos still remains the epicentre with 98 cases, while FCT follows at 38. Others are Osun- 20, Oyo- 8, Akwa Ibom- 5, Ogun- 4, Edo- 4, Kaduna- 4, Bauchi- 3, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers-1, and Benue- 1.
