Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will swear in newly appointed ministers on Monday, November 4, 2024.

The presidential aide made this known in a post on his verified X account, stating, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday.”

The ministers are Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour and Employment; and Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Others include Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment; Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Minister of State for Education.

In a move to reshuffle his cabinet, President Tinubu appointed seven new ministers, reassigned portfolios to ten serving ministers, and dismissed five others from his cabinet.

The newly appointed ministers were confirmed by the Nigerian Senate last Wednesday.
