The party announced the candidates in a statement issued on Friday and signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.
According to the ADC, the candidates comprise politicians, professionals and other public figures selected to represent the party in 28 states.
“These men and women will carry the ADC banner and our commitment to offer Nigerians credible leadership and a real alternative,” the party said.

Others on the list include former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, in Kebbi; Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi in Zamfara; Biodun Ogundipe in Ogun; Taofeek Adegoke in Oyo; Great Ogboru in Delta; and Ibrahim Ali Amin in Kano.
The candidates will contest in Abia, Adamawa, Bauchi, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Benue, Borno, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara states.
The unveiling represents a major step in the ADC’s preparations for the 2027 general elections, as the opposition party seeks to strengthen its presence across the states and challenge the dominance of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The party has increasingly positioned itself as an alternative political platform ahead of the 2027 elections, with the newly released governorship list expected to further shape its electoral strategy across the country
