The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has extended the deadline for candidates with outstanding admission offers from 2021 to 2025 to accept or reject the offers on its Central Admissions Processing System.
The new deadline is November 30, 2026, giving affected candidates additional time to take action on their outstanding admissions.
JAMB announced the extension on Wednesday, urging all affected candidates to log into their CAPS accounts and indicate whether they wish to accept or reject their admission offers.
The Board warned that candidates who fail to take action before the new deadline will have their outstanding offers reverted to “Not Admitted” on JAMB’s records.
According to JAMB, candidates should not wait until the deadline before making a decision, as any subsequent request to update an affected admission will attract the applicable penalty fee.
The latest extension follows an earlier deadline of September 30, 2026, which JAMB had announced in August for candidates with outstanding admission offers dating from 2021.
The Board therefore advised all affected candidates to check their CAPS accounts and complete the required action before November 30, 2026.
