The Delta State Government has directed security agencies to arrest those responsible for attacking aides attached to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, describing the incident as unacceptable.

According to the government, the attack targeted officials carrying out their duties and poses a threat to public order and the safety of government personnel. Authorities have ordered a thorough investigation to identify and prosecute everyone involved.

The state government reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order, stressing that acts of violence against public officials or any citizen will not be tolerated.

Security agencies have since intensified efforts to track down the suspects as investigations into the incident continue.
