US female rapper, Cardi B says she will donate the proceeds from her rant track to victims of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 27-year-old female rapper had made a social media rant about covid-19 which was transformed into a rap song by DJ iMarkkeyz.

The song includes excerpts from her diatribe about the government and the very unknown status of COVID-19. Daily Mail reports.

The song however rose to the 11th spot on hip-hop itunes music chart.

Responding to a fan who requested the rapper considers donating part of the royalties to victims in need of help on Twitter, Cardi B confirmed she will donate the proceeds to victims of the disease.

The fan tweeted; “Yo if y’all are getting royalties off of this @iamcardib @iMarkkeyz maybe u could consider donating a part of it to food banks of shelters that are propably flooded with new people needing help?”

She Replied; “YES! THATS WHAT WE GOING TO DO! Keep in mind you don’t get your money right away…but even months from now there would be families with financial issues for getting laid off due to the virus. We will Donate!”
