BREAKING: Nigeria Confirms 64 New Cases Of Coronavirus

Sixty-four new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria, bringing the total number to 1337.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC broke the news via its verified Twitter handle on Monday.

Out of the 64 new cases, 34 were confirmed in Lagos, 15 in Abuja, 11 in Borno and two each in Taraba and Gombe.

While no new death was recorded, total discharged cases rose to 255.

NCDC tweeted: “64 new cases of #COVID19 reported; 34-Lagos 15-FCT 11-Borno 2-Taraba 2-Gombe.

“As at 11:20pm 27th April- 1337 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 255 Deaths: 40.”
