BREAKING: Lagos Discharges Nine COVID-19 Patients

Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of nine coronavirus patients receiving treatment in the state.

The state health ministry made the announcement on Tuesday via its verified Twitter handle.

The newly recovered COVID-19 patients; two females and seven males, were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital, IDH, Yaba, after successfully testing negative twice for the disease.

The tweet reads: “Breaking!
9 #COVID19Lagos patients; 2 females & 7 males, all Nigerians have been discharged from our Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital Isolation facility to reunite with the society.

“The patients were discharged having fully recovered & tested negative to #COVID19 in two consecutive readings.

“This brings to 632, the number of confirmed #COVID19 cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.”
