BREAKING: 2 Indians, 1 Chinese, 64 Others Recover From COVID-19 In Lagos

No fewer than 67 coronavirus patients, including two Indians and one Chinese, have tested negative twice and have been discharged in Lagos State.

The state health ministry broke the news via its verified Twitter handle on Saturday.

The 67 COVID-19 patients, 22 females and 45 males, were discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, Onikan, Agidingbi, Lekki and Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH isolation centres in the state.

This brings the total number of recovered patients in the state to 608.

The state health ministry tweeted: “Breaking! 67 #COVID19Lagos patients; 22 females & 45 males; including 3 foreign nationals – 2 Indians & a Chinese have been discharged from our Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 24 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 22 from Onikan, 11 from Agidingbi, 2 from Lekki & 8 from LUTH Isolation Centres have fully recovered & tested negative twice consecutively to #COVID19

With this, number of discharged patients has risen to 608.
