BREAKING: Lagos Discharges 48 More COVID-19 Patients

Lagos State government has announced the discharged of 48 more coronavirus patients in the state, after fully recovering and tested negative twice consecutively for the disease.

The State Ministry of Health made the disclosure via its verified Twitter handle on Thursday.

Out of the 48 newly discharged patients, 28 were from the Iinfectious Disease Hospital, IDH at Yaba, six from Lekki, one from Onikan and 13 from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LUTH Isolation Centres.

The state health ministry tweeted: “#COVID19Lagos Update Breaking! 48 more #COVID19Lagos patients; 16 females & 32 males; all Nigerians have been discharged from our Isolation facilities at Yaba, Lekki, Onikan & @LUTHofficial to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 28 from IDH, Yaba, 6 from Lekki, 1 from Onikan & 13 from @LUTHofficial Isolation Centres have fully recovered & tested negative twice consecutively to #COVID19.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos has risen to 406.”
