BREAKING: Abia, FCT Record Higher Over Lagos As Nigeria Confirms 260 New COVID-19 Cases

260 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the total to 12,486 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure on Sunday via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 260 new cases, 67 were confirmed in Abia, FCT 40, 38 in Lagos, 19 in Ogun, 16in Gombe, 14 in Edo, nine in Imo, eight in Kwara, Katsina , Nasarawa and Borno, six in Kaduna, five in Bauchi, four in Ekiti and two in Niger, Ondo, Plateau, Kano and Sokoto.

Total discharge and fatalities in the country also rose to 3,959 and 354 respectively.

A breakdown of the new cases according to state reads: “260 new cases of #COVID19;
