BREAKING: 389 New Infections As COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria Exceed 12,000

389 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria as the total recorded in the country jumped to 12,233.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the announcement on Saturday night via its verified Twitter handle.

Lagos sustained its lead, confirming 66 new COVID-19 cases; its lowest in days, followed by FCT with 50. Others were Delta-32, Oyo-31, Borno-26, Rivers-24, Edo-23, Ebonyi-23, Anambra-17, Gombe-17, Nasarawa-14, Imo-12, Kano-12, Sokoto-12, Jigawa-8, Ogun-7, Bauchi-5, Kebbi-2, Kaduna-2, Katsina-2, Ondo-2, Abia-1 and Niger-1.

130 patients were discharged, taking the total to 3,826, while nine fatalities were confirmed, bringing to 342 the total number of fatalities across the country.
