BREAKING: 16 New Deaths, 276 Fresh Cases, As Total COVID-19 Infections In Nigeria Rise To 8,344

276 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the total to 8,344 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the new cases on Tuesday via its verified Twitter handle.

According to NCDC, the 276 new cases were confirmed in 15 states in the country with Lagos recording the highest with 161 new cases.

16 new deaths we’re also confirmed which increased the total fatalities in the country to 249 , while 2,385 have so far been discharged.
