BREAKING: 26 More COVID-19 Patients Get Discharged In Lagos

Just minutes after the Lagos State Ministry of Health announced the death of a coronavirus patient, another 26 persons who were infected with the virus, have been discharged to reunite with the society in the state.

The newly discharged patients, according to the state’s health ministry, in a Twitter post on Friday, were 12 females and 14 males, including two foreign nationals from Poland and Philippine, bringing the total to 225 in the state.

They were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital at Yaba and Onikan Isolation Centre in Lagos.

The tweet reads: “#COVID19Lagos Update Breaking!.

“26 more #COVID19Lagos patients; 12 females & 14 males including 2 foreign nationals – 1 Polish &1 Filipino were today discharged from our Isolation facilities at Yaba & Onikan to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 14 from IDH, Yaba & 12 from Onikan Isolation Centre have fully recovered & tested negative twice consecutively to #COVID19.

“With this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos is now 225.
