Anambra-born media entrepreneur and lawyer, Barr. Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, has established a new transport company, Ifeyinwa Transport and Logistics Limited.

Iwuchukwu announced the development in a statement made via his verified social media media handles. According to him, preparations for the interstate transport business had commenced, including company registration and engagements with automobile suppliers and business partners in China and Dubai before the passing of his mother.

He explained that his late mother, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Iwuchukwu, had been enthusiastic about the proposed business and regularly shared ideas about the company before her passing. Iwuchukwu said the decision to name the business after her was made on the day she died, as a way of preserving her memory and fulfilling her desire to see the transport company become a reality.

The entrepreneur disclosed that the company had acquired and fully paid for its start-up assets, which are currently being shipped to Nigeria from Dubai and China.

Explaining the vision behind the venture, Iwuchukwu said the company aims to provide reliable, comfortable and value-driven transportation and logistics services to Nigerians.

He noted that its target market includes interstate travellers, traders, small business owners and young Nigerians, adding that the company intends to distinguish itself through quality service, customer trust and affordability. Describing the venture as an opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to Nigeria’s competitive transport industry, he said the business would cater to both younger and older generations.

Ifeyinwa Transport and Logistics Limited is expected to commence operations with two luxury buses and two Toyota Hiace buses, with plans for gradual expansion into a major transport brand in Nigeria.Iwuchukwu said the official commencement date and operational locations would be announced in due course as preparations for the company’s launch continue.

He expressed optimism that the business would create employment opportunities, contribute to the country’s transport and logistics sector, and serve as a lasting tribute to his late mother.

Ifeyinwa Transport adds to the collection of businesses owned by Iwuchukwu, who is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Visage Media Limited, an integrated marketing and advertising company with its headquarters in Lagos.
