The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Hope Uzodinma as winner of the Imo state Governorship election.
Uzodinma was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s off-season election held in the state.
The Governor won in all 27 local government areas of the state polling
540,308 votes.
His People’s Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Sam Anyanwu, got 71,503 votes to come second.
The Labour Party (LP) candidate, Althan Achonu, came third with 64,081 votes.
